Terms and Conditions

PLEASE NOTE: During the pandemic, we are limiting trips to the post office to one day a week, Mondays. Orders placed before noon on Sunday will go out in Monday's shipment. Thank you for your understanding.

Regular Package Shipment Dates:

We make every effort to ship packages Tuesday and Friday mornings*. Orders placed before 12pm MST Monday are shipped Tuesday mornings. Orders paced before 12pm MST Thursday are shipped Friday morning.

Please take this into account when calculating shipping times.

From date of shipment, packages within Canada take approximately 2 - 4 business days.
US shipments take approximately 8 - 10 business days*
International shipments take approximately 10 - 15 business days*

These are estimates, * denotes shipments may be inspected by customs, which would add 1 - 2 weeks shipping times.

Cave & Canyon will not be held responsible for missing orders if tracking was not purchased during checkout. If you have had packages go missing in the past, your item is urgent, or for peace of mind, please consider choosing the Tracked Shipping option. Tracked packages are insured for $100, if your order is over this, please consider purchasing additional insurance. You can do this by leaving a note with your order.

Once tracking for the package shows "delivered" Cave & Canyon is in no way responsible for theft that may occur while the package is left unsupervised. To combat this, please consider mailing to a place of business or post office box.

Cave & Canyon is not responsible for damages to product which occur in transit. If you wish to be covered for damages, please ensure you choose the tracked shipping option and notify us that you would like to insure your package if it is more than $100. This will incur an additional fee.

Cave & Canyon is not responsible for any customs or duty charges incurred on shipments. These are the sole responsibility of the purchaser.

Local Pick Up

You will receive an e-mail with pick up location & available times when you order has been packed and is ready for you. E-mails are typically sent out Mondays with that week's pick up times.

Orders need to be picked up within 30 days. Once 21 days have passed, we will send an e-mail with option to pay for shipping. If buyer fails to pay for shipping, or does not pick up within 30 days, the order will be cancelled and refunded less a 50% restocking fee.

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.

To complete your return, we require the item returned to us along with your order number.

All purchases made during sale events or Instagram sales are final.

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

All refunds are subject to a 25% restocking fee.

Shipping fees will not be refunded.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Pre-Order Items
Ruturns/Cancellations on items purchased during pre-orders will be subject to a 25% restocking fee. This will be deducted from your refund.

Sale and Auction items (if applicable)
Sale and Auction items are final sale. No refunds will be given.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the initial shipping charges will be deducted from your refund.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.



When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address.
When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.
Email marketing (if applicable): With your permission, we may send you emails about our store, new products and other updates.


How do you get my consent?
When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.
If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.

How do I withdraw my consent?

We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.


Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.
Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.
All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.

As an example, if you are located in Canada and your transaction is processed by a payment gateway located in the United States, then your personal information used in completing that transaction may be subject to disclosure under United States legislation, including the Patriot Act.
Once you leave our store’s website or are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy or our website’s Terms of Service.

When you click on links on our store, they may direct you away from our site. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites and encourage you to read their privacy statements.


To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.
If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with a AES-256 encryption.  Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website.
